The DC inverter compressor in the SRC50ZS-W continuously adjusts its speed to the actual heating or cooling demand. This ensures a consistently comfortable indoor climate while significantly reducing energy consumption. In cooling mode, the SRC50ZS-W achieves energy class A++ (SEER 7.0), in heating mode equally A++ (SCOP 4.6).
The SRC50ZS-W is designed for heating operation at outdoor temperatures as low as −15 °C. The integrated automatic defrost control and the regulated DC fan motor ensure stable operation even in winter. The optional Silent Mode reduces the sound pressure level to 43/45 dB(A) – ideal for noise-sensitive environments.
The SRC50ZS-W is designed as a single outdoor unit for exactly one compatible indoor unit – no indoor unit is included in the scope of delivery. Compatible indoor units of the ZS series (e.g. wall unit SRK50ZS-WF with 5.0 kW and WiFi) are available separately.
Indoor unit, refrigerant lines, and installation materials are not included and must be ordered separately.
Installation and commissioning must be carried out exclusively by a certified refrigeration engineer (EU Regulation 2024/573).

What refrigerant does the unit use?The SRC50ZS-W uses refrigerant R32 with a GWP value of 675. The unit is factory pre-charged with 1.05 kg R32.
How loud is the outdoor unit during operation?In normal operation, the sound pressure level is 51 dB(A) (cooling) and 52 dB(A) (heating). With activated Silent Mode, the level reduces to 43/45 dB(A).
Does the unit work in winter for heating?Yes. The SRC50ZS-W is designed for heating operation at outdoor temperatures as low as −15 °C. The automatic defrost control ensures reliable operation even in frosty conditions.
Is the unit eligible for BAFA or KfW subsidies?The SRC50ZS-W is generally eligible for BAFA/KfW subsidies and SG Ready-capable with the optional adapter SC-BIKN2-E. Specific requirements must be verified individually.
